2023 to 2025 Ford Escape Remote Start Installation Overview

• No OBD2 Port Blocking: One T-harness connection between your vehicle's OBD2 port and the T-harness is required to install this system (see photos below). No need to unplug the remote starter system every time you need to access the vehicle's OBD2 diagnostic plug is required for vehicle service or additional accessories. Just remove the vehicle's OBD2 plug from its mounting bracket (it just snaps out) and plug it into the T-harness, and snap the OBD2 plug from the T-harness into the OBD2 bracket.
   
• 2 T-tap connections are required that can be a little challenging to reach, located behind the driver's side left footrest. You will have a couple of T-tap connections (included) to make on 2 wires running into this connector. After these are made, just plug the 2 wires as indicated in the guide from the harness into the T-taps (male spade connectors are already pre-crimped on the wires).
   
• After plugging it into your vehicle and applying the 2 T-tap connections, activation is simple: just plug the blue plug into the remote start module, turn the vehicle's ignition ON, wait a few seconds for the GREEN LED to turn OFF, then turn the ignition OFF, and you're done.
